Enjoy. ——————————————————————————————— I have a lot of maps in the backlog waiting to recieve a bit of polish and a certain amount of testing. I would like to try and releae them a little more frequently, so the number of modes has been reduced to just the Story and Super Grinder modes that people seem to play most. If a map seems particularly popular and people ask for more modes I will add them later. NB I apologise for releasing this map before QAD3. Its simply that QAD3 still requires a bit more work. ——————————————————————————————— QAD4-V2 Super Grinder has been renamed to Challenge Thank you to OCD and FTBTNT for helping me to test the map again. As always, any issues are my responsibility not theirs. ——————————————————————————————— Scoreboost is not available for any mission. The following missions are included: All normal missions have been beaten on Competitive Hard. Any TI missions have been beaten on Open Elite by FCP1969. Thanks must go to FCP1969 who has helped with testing this map. All errors, bugs and balance issues are of course my responsibility not theirs. ——————————————————————————————— All modes, (ie open, comp no sell etc,) are available for the basic story mission. As scores are not posted to a leaderboard I consider it to be effectively a practice mode. Missions with a TI added after the name can only be played in open modes and are much harder, it is expected that you will need Tower Items to beat them. ——————————————————————————————— If you find the missions to be too easy on Competitive Elite, or find any other issues, then please post a comment below giving as much information as possible whilst avoiding spoilers. If you find any mission to be too difficult, then please consider the following options. 1) Rewind a couple of waves and try a slightly different strategy. |
Is this map posssible on hard ?
I tried for hours but can’t get past wave 16 without losing cores.
Non TI missions have been completed on competitive hard with no cores lost.
If its a TI mission then they have been checked on open elite, though it is expected that you will have a good selection of tower upgrades.
Which mission type? Story Leaderboards? i will give it a go just to make sure something strange hasn’t happened since it was released.

Well, I’m gonna give it another try.
Gave Story-Leaderboards a go on Comp Hard, just scraped gold with nothing taken. (My excuse is Im out of practice.)
Should be similar difficulty to Story – Open Hard, except for the no tower items and no orbital weapon, so fingers crossed for your next attempt.
If you are still having difficulty with it after, start a thread on the Steam forum, perhaps with a screenshot of your build, and Ill try and help.
Just a note for the Super Grinder, Comp Hard mission, you may need to use one or two of the command shuttle options to give yourself more tower space. (Shouldnt be necessary for the story comp hard missions though.)

If its ti modes both story ti and super grinder ti open elite are doable to keep all 24 cores.
Make sure on ti you have your choice of weapons upgraded to level 5 or you will struggle 🙂

Whilst I felt that the story missions were probably ok, during the retesting I did feel that the Super Grinder mission on Comp Hard whilst possible, was too hard. One of the people who help me to test these things had a look and agreed.
So there is a new version of the map.
The old Super Grinder mission has been renamed Challenge. Its leaderboards should carry over although the gold medal score has been dropped slightly, and a new slightly easier version of Super Grinder has been added.
Very hard. I always end up supporting the dark side and loose all cores on the light. No medals for me 🙂
