Hi guys–I may be missing a function besides tower building in this map, but I can’t get beyond level 30 in normal , even with all the kill mazes built and just about every box I can fill. Have tried 13 times. Any suggestions?

A few things to check?
• Are the tower upgrades you are using on level 5
• Make sure you use distruptors that link up so healers cant heal others
• Make sure when pathing that you try to make ‘U’ turns as they are way better than just a constant maze
• Concussions on level 5 ‘Fire Bombs’ are your friend
All the maps and modes are doable to get Gold on Open Elite.

Finally beat it…..what a fantastic map. You really have to think through this one and upgrade at the right time. Well done sir.

Wow—I haven’t used that much at all…….I usually rely on orbital lazer as a fail safe. I’ll try it. Thanks!
A commander to try
If you use commander Briel you will gain more resources which you can save to help with score or build more to defend
Other than ‘hint’ commander used I have never used a special weapon and still will get through all maps and modes for gold open elite.

Nowhere found an instruction how to use this commander correctly.
1) when activating, do I mark the region for getting the bonus, or do I tag the aliens?
2) is the effect time limited? i.e. if no aliens die in the next 5 seconds, no bonus at all?
3) do I get the bonus immediately when an alien dies, or do I get it at the end included in the wave bonus?
4) is it better to have some big aliens included, or better a lot of small ones?
Any other hints?

Though I have a big backlog of maps and modes to play I managed to squeeze in a couple of modes with this map too. Big fun !
I have some work still to do with making the optimal suffering for the aliens yet – but I managed gold on super grinder 🙂

Grinder Hard – WOW! That is seriously strong stuff with an ending to end all endings. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Hello mister topscorer 🙂 I do like to know why i cannot come close to your scores. Maybe i don’t understand the score settings but i can do the gold levels but never come close to your scores. Where is your magical tutorial ? 🙂
Sorry no tutorial available. But a general tip for good scoring in DG2 is keep the bad guys alive for as long as you can. And above all keep the cores at home. If you want something more specific then you can message me via Steam.

Tough start to each script but gets easier as you go on. The Super Grinder in particular is fantastic fun, so much going on in all directions. Would like to have seen a hard mode (like Skywalker) or even the Grinder script from Skywalker to make even tougher. Great job!

Hard mode thanks Sharky. Very nice, seriously harder than normal, enough to force me to change setup halfway through. Had to add at least 50% extra power. Still gold and over 100M.
