Wow, that was truly awful… better get out there and defend the cores before the aliens inflict any more puns on us… My apologies for the delay getting this out to you… Kind of bit off more than I could chew in terms of getting it all ready. Be that as it may I do intend to add more mission types to this over the next few days/weeks. (There’s always leftovers with turkey right?) Contains the following missions: Scoreboost is not available in any mission. Let me know in the comments below if you run into any problems, I will do what I can to get it fixed quickly. Also, my thanks must go to those who have helped on the testing/suggestion side of things. This time my thanks go to FCP1969, Arthurs Foot & Moth. Any mistakes / errors are of course mine not theirs. My thanks also go to Shark@tak and TheWatcher Donuts for insisting on the need for a Turkey Themed map. All missions have been beaten on Competitive Hard, with no cores lost. As such they may be a touch on the easy side for some players. My apologies and I wish you luck on Comp Elite. You are a better/braver person than I. ______________________________________ Festive Turkey V1.2 – Leftovers There was a problem with the leadeboards for Artillery and Baseless containing high scores left over from testing old versions of the scripts, and those scores no longer being attainable. As such there are now two versions of Artillery, the old version with a clean leaderboard, and a new, harder, Tower Items version with the old leaderboard, plus a clean leaderboard for Baseless. My apologies to the players who had posted scores to the old Artillery Leaderboard. I can only suggest that you post a new score on one of the new missions. In case you were left wanting more Turkey. New Missions added Story – Leaderboard, Baseless, Deep Freeze, Flood, HVY5, HVY5 TI, Incendiary, Limited Towers, Mini Grinder, Out Of Bullets, Short Sighted All tested on Comp Hard (no cores lost) except for HVY5 TI which was tested on Open Elite (no cores lost) by FCP1969 Any issues, please post below. |

The intention is to add more mission types when possible this month, hopefully double the number of missions for those with time on their hands. 🙂
I also intend to release the other festive maps from last Christmas, plus ideally a few others, all depending on how the testing goes. If it all goes to plan that would be another 6 maps, big if though. May have to be three (festive maps) this month and three (more normal maps) next month.
The reason for that is that it seems as if the maps from last year need a bit extra testing, as there was less scope to balance them properly at the time.
I will also try to remember to add a story-leaderboard mission type when I update things, identical to the normal story mission.
After thinking/talking about it, I decided to re-release the old maps as is. So Festive Tree, Pudding and Greetings are now available as well.
My reasoning is that new/rebalanced versions of the maps would need to have new ID’s as they would realistically be incompatible with the existing leaderboards. To put it another way, whether the map is easier or harder the scores would be different.
New ID’s basically makes them new maps, which frees me to remove some of the less popular mission types like focal point and frozen core, and hopefully add in a few of the newer types, ie Flood.
As such, if there are mission types you particularly want to see in the new versions, (or particularly dislike in the old version,) then do say in the comments section of the relevant map.

Would be nice to have either a story leaderboard mode or perhaps a fully loaded mode.
Those suppressors towards the end are really tough and represent a challenge. Fun but fair.
