new test map – check it out let me know what you think

**works best when you give a couple extra seconds after loading, before building a tower.** <– Very important, give it a slow count to 10 before building a tower.

*** one of the blocks’ starting positions slightly overlaps with the alien path. this will crash your map if you place a tower there while it’s overlapped.. you should be able to see which one i’m talking about when the map first comes up

This was awesome!!!!
I would love to see a map where my set up moves during play (even though I would hate it in a good way).
This is an extremely great concept you have achieved here.
Great work.
Cheers from Australia 🙂

I enjoyed it but, my opinion, I solved using only missiles… So for me little boring, sorry… Anyway cool try! I appreciate the continous changing of the positions (also sorry for my poor english) 😉

operation is indeed the master of the DG2 architect tool! the spiral design and the moving platforms are all interesting and mesmerising to look at.

But I enjoy DG2 because of the strategy. I like the amount of control it gives me in influencing the path of the aliens, and seeing my grand plan coming to fruition.

In this map, I don’t feel that I’ve made significant decisions in achieving my victory. I dunno where my tiles will end up from time to time, and given their distance from the spiral path, I only built missile towers. Did I win? yes! But did I feel that I’ve pulled off a great strategy? Not really.

operation’s maps are mostly experimental in nature, pushing the envelop of DG2, so it’s difficult to give any additional comments other than a general feeling of gameplay satisfaction :).

And if I play a map that makes me go … hmmmm let me just put towers randomly everywhere, upgrade them randomly and keep my fingers crossed, then it’s not a satisfying map for me.

But like I said, I always play operation’s maps with anticipation, to see what’s the architect tool can do 🙂

That is totally awesome! Your imagination and creativity truly shine on this one! It’s like a new twist on the game, adding dimension I didn’t know was there. I’m impressed. I had to use zooming and rotating, frequently, just to keep up! It’s a bit easy on story hard, with all cannons, (one of my favorite ways to play). Perhaps less spirals? Keep up the good work!
