Author: Grimlar Download Map: – Authors Map Description –Festive – Pumpkin So here it is, a Halloween map. In June… As I mentioned when I released the Snowman map back in January, its a bit late. Well, to be accurate its very late, so late in fact you could justifiably describe it as early. Oh well. Explanation. When you reload, rather than continuing your game, you get a mission where the towers and aliens etc have all disappeared, the wave counter says 9999 and basically looks like the fourth screenshot on this page. Sometimes, but not always, pressing backspace a couple of times will get you back to a valid checkpoint, allowing you to continue, other times it wont. The delay therefore is due to the extra testing and balancing of various attempts to work around this problem. Hopefully none of you will run into this problem, but as its impossible to say for sure, I thought I ought to mention it, so you can at least try the backspace workaround if it does. So far as I can tell, the problem is only likely to occur during the last few waves of one of the longer missions (ie MiniGrinder or SuperGrinder,) so my advice would be that once you get close to the end of the mission, keep going until you finish if at all possible. ——————————————————————————————— Scoreboost is not available for any mission. Including a ‘No Fire’ option that costs nothing and removes the fire & particle effects in case you find them distracting. (Like all command shuttle options, this will also start the mission.) The following missions are included: All normal missions have been beaten on Competitive Hard. Any TI missions have been beaten on Open Elite by OCD. (Formerly FCP1969.) Thanks must go to OCD, Sir Mien, TNTFTB & Arthurs Foot who have helped with testing this map. All errors, bugs and balance issues are of course my responsibility not theirs. Also thanks to John Daud for being willing to answer questions. ——————————————————————————————— All modes, (ie open, comp no sell etc,) are available for the basic story mission. As scores are not posted to a leaderboard I consider it to be effectively a practice mode. Yes ! Wow what a challenge, pffffff. I like al maps and new ones are always good. This one is not relaxing. Not playing before going to sleep. Nice you can turn the fire off 🙂 This will cost a lot of time. Thanks all hard workers
