– Authors Map Description –

This seems an unlikely location for an alien invasion, an abandoned mining facility on an unstable rock. The aliens are here though, so that means we are too. Let’s see what they’re after.
Update adds MP and map thumb!

Interesting, but a bit too easy.

This was a fun map to use for the weekly challenge. There are so many ways to setup the towers.

Possible to change the points needed for gold? It is impossible right now. If someone have done it, tell me how lol.

Really good map, gave it 5 stars. I cant get gold. I am at maybe 500 to get silver. I dont understand at all how the points system work on DG2??? DG1 was better with points.

After a lot of tweaking of my original layout, I managed to accomplish gold on Story/Hard/Competitive (no sell). It has plenty of depth to it, and eking out those last few points for the gold was actually fun. “Gonna be short, gonna be short, gonna be short…” [Juggs die] – 2.56M Well done, Op40.

the real fun of the game and shows that custum maps can be better than standard ones
however hard to get gold medal without losing cores
i like the idea of the downturnings
thanks

I like it. The medal settings seem well-tuned, and the options for play are many. Eked out a bronze on Story/Hard/Competitive(no sell) on my second try.

Great map to play on, got gold on open elite story mode first time no problem at all but on competitive easy mode that was insanely hard to get gold on.

I think this is a cool layout with the exception of the pod that lands on the core housing with an exit path that is too short. It’s easily overcome, but I think it detracts from the level with an exit path that doesn’t reverse itself. It feels like a cheesy way to basically say “don’t even let them get to your housing” and then you go & put a pod on it.

Great map! But agree with ExK, that overhead road obstructing view is annoying!

managed to score a gold badge on normal. this is the first time I use the ‘score boost’ upgrade on so many boosters.

tried twice but failed to score bronze. it’s a good map nevertheless.

nice one but the last level on the super grinder would be nice if it were harder

oh, I think operatino40 forgot to set the targets for gold, silver and bronze badges, so after completing the map twice, I don’t get a badge.

overall a good balance of challenge and fun again, but visual obstruction disguised as challenge is cheap. Is the overhead unused path that does nothing more than making things harder to see really necessary?
