I am having problems with this map locking up and crashing the app around level 22-23. Have no other problems with other maps. Thoughts?
thats really odd as I have played all modes for many hours over and over and it ran smooth.
the one thing i will say is in the past when I was having crash issues they were instantly fixed once i put in a new graphics card, new power source and a better cooling fans. I never wanted to believe it was needed but once i did 8 months ago i have not had dg2 crash once on custom maps.
to prove it was those items is i used to keep dropping the graphics down and it was still crashing once all new parts were put in i have been running the graphics on the highest settings and no issues.
your problem might not be related but if your parts are getting on a bit and get a flogging it might be time to up date 🙂
Hey OCD,
I think you are correct. This map gets pretty hairy in the 20’s and my PC is older. I suspect it’s running out of vram or RAM.

I looked at this map and thought – it has a fixed path but a lot of build possibilities so I’ll manage. Then I played for a while and all was going well and I thought – this one is easy. Then the final waves hit me and life was not so easy anymore. I barely survived, but had a lot of fun !

Another great map, thanks Sharky. Amazing fun, I particularly like the Grinder mode because it certainly made me think. A real challenge for us old folks 🙂
