– Authors Map Description –
< Commander: I’m afraid I have some bad news. We lost contact to one of our colonies on LV-426. Terraformers. Planetary engineers. They put up those big atmosphere processors to make air breathable, building better worlds. It takes decades.
We don’t know exactly how many lives are envolved. Sixty, maybe seventy families. All that we know is that there’s still no contact and that… a Xenomorph may be involved. Basically, it is a bug hunt.
Somehow they cut the power. So we’re on emergency lighting. Try to keep as many core facilities intact as possible. It is a multi-million dollar installation after all. You come here, and you gonna conquer, and you gonna kick some. Is that understood?
If things go south, nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. Be aware that this should be our last resort, right before "Game Over, Man!"
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed?
