Again a great map. A bit on the easier side 😛
Small bug report. story_LB fails for me to resume an earlier started map after restart of the game. I’ll try to finish without stopping the game now 😛
hi
thanks for the comment
i can explain about the save/resume thing ……. the game itself allows for 10 megabytes of room for the save points and has 20 save points ….. which equals 500kb for each point (on a perfect map) …..all the data for the map itself and all the aliens health and positions on the map at the time is saved …… each backspace takes us to one of those points….
it is a juggling act to make a decent map and keep its size down below 250 Kb which only leaves 250K for all the alien data …….
you will encounter save/resume issues with most user made maps ……
they have more aliens, are larger and not as simple as HPE’s maps
what most players do is hit escape instead of exiting game ….. it can sit minimized while you do other stuff …… and will resume whenever
I love these Committed maps, i am looking forward to this!
Thanks for another one.
🙂
Wow, looks like an amazing implementation of this idea!
