– Authors Map Description –

< Commander: A commercial staging station is threatened. This station is a central hub for the smaller industries in the Asteroid Clusters to stockpile goods until a full payload is collected for inbound transport to the major markets on Mars and Earth. The station has defensive potential, but will require thoughtful placement of towers to get the maximum effect. >

– this map is large and has quite a few aliens
– wysiwyg: … what you see is what you get, there are no map transforms or Command Shuttle options
– this map is intended to be both challenging and fun – but most missions lean towards challenge
– the two "challenge" modes deny the use of long range weapons – the <super G challenge> is more of a super XG challenge with 150 large waves and is going to test your skills

– the <story> mode is required to compile a map, however the <story> scores from custom made maps are not saved
to the leaderboard, – the hack or work around for this is the <story leaderboard> – i have been setting up the <story> and the <story leaderboard> the exact same on previous maps, but i have decided to give the story mode standard HPE scripts and difficulties and use custom settings and/or scripts for the other modes – so … if the <story> is too easy then try the <story leaderboard> or one of the other missions

– due to the present global situation with the COVID-19 pandemic –
During this time of social distancing, travel restrictions and/or quarantine,
i will release the maps as soon as they are ready, to help those of us who
own DG2 to pass the time and keep our minds active during this crisis. 🙂

– McB helped me with the testing, tuning and balancing ….
– it is a big map, so although it has been played many times, something could
easily have been missed …. if so, please let me know so i can fix it
– all modes have been completed on the highest difficulty level
without using an orbital weapon (" L " button)

Epic! – Crazy good map! I spent the first several minutes just looking around at the amazing visuals, then restarted and played it over and over, all night. Great job of balancing, I played every one of the missions and was challenged on each.
I love the variety of ways to attack this map and that they all don’t work.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙂

Razcle,

Love all of your maps. Please keep them coming.

A general question – how does one know beforehand if the achievement medals are available on a map and what the various point totals for each achievement are?

Thanks, razcle. I figured that the map creator had control over the trigger levels for the various gold, silver, and bronze medals. It seems like some of the maps don’t have any of the medals set up at all.

Like I said, keep ’em coming!!

My bad wording. I think you answered my question. On a couple of your maps it looks like the levels aren’t there. Is there a way to know if they are present or would you have to indicate that in your notes?
Thanks!

Tony
