Enjoy. ——————————————————————————————— I have a lot of maps in the backlog waiting to recieve a bit of polish and a certain amount of testing. I would like to try and releae them a little more frequently, so the number of modes has been reduced to just the Story and Super Grinder modes that people seem to play most. If a map seems particularly popular and people ask for more modes I will add them later. Note: This is the last QAD map for a while. ——————————————————————————————— Scoreboost is not available for any mission. The following missions are included: All normal missions have been beaten on Competitive Hard. Any TI missions have been beaten on Open Elite by FCP1969. Thanks must go to FCP1969 who has helped with testing this map. All errors, bugs and balance issues are of course my responsibility not theirs. ——————————————————————————————— All modes, (ie open, comp no sell etc,) are available for the basic story mission. As scores are not posted to a leaderboard I consider it to be effectively a practice mode. Missions with a TI added after the name can only be played in open modes and are much harder, it is expected that you will need Tower Items to beat them. Fliers are generally weaker than their ground based counterparts, but as they tend to have a more direct route to the power cores, and will leave the map quickly after reaching the power core, this kind of balances out. In DG1 your alien radar would tell you when flying aliens were coming, Im sorry to say that isnt possible in DG2. Suffice to say they only appear every few waves in a fairly predictable pattern. If you want more information, I will provide a spoiler comment below. ——————————————————————————————— If you find the missions to be too easy on Competitive Elite, or find any other issues, then please post a comment below giving as much information as possible whilst avoiding spoilers. If you find any mission to be too difficult, then please consider the following options. 1) Rewind a couple of waves and try a slightly different strategy. |

Ok, some general hints.
(Please bear in mind that your play style may well differ from mine, I prefer to play comp hard rather than open elite.)
Minor Spoilers, use at your own risk.
Personally I found multiple laser towers to be helpful against the faster flying aliens.
Likewise carefully placed temporals with disruption auras & cannons help with those that are shielded.
Missiles & meteors are ok, but the other towers are cheaper, more focussed and fire faster.
As the fliers get tougher, you may need more firepower, so maybe putting towers at both gaps may help.
Or by the power core housing to stop them escaping, although that can be quite difficult.
Alternatively you may wish to investigate the options on the command shuttle.
Finally, you can lengthen the path the ground troops have to take by forcing them through the drains from side to side to get maximum effect from your concussion & temporal towers.

Alien Radar in DG2 does not give warning of flying aliens. You will no doubt figure out the pattern anyway, but if you wish to know when they spawn then that information is provided in the following hint. You have been warned.
Story missions: waves 5 & 6, 9 & 10 etc
Super Grinder missions: wave 2, 9, 16 etc (every 7 waves) plus the last 2 waves.
