It is that time of year again where the money for this site to exist for another year is desperately needed. The maps are free ….. the web site’s existence is not! Commanders it is up to us to keep this site going.

The v2 zip file above has the correct settings for the super grinder’s gold, silver and bronze.
I have tried to make this map so it has something for everybody ( to encourage donations ) – as a result:
– Elite deserves it’s name and easy is a fun frag fest ( normal and hard filling the gap )
– it has a tricky brain teaser puzzle-like mode
– and both shorter and longer games
– this map has extra modes included: a ‘story LB challenge’ and a ‘super G challenge’
– the story LB challenge is 15 short fast waves with few resources ( aprox 30 mins )
– the super G challenge is 90 large and long waves ( aprox 3 hours )
– it has been beaten on Open Elite – gold achieved and all cores retained

Modes for this Map
story:
– 40 waves of assorted aliens –
– score is not saved, this mode is more for practice
story leaderboard:
– 40 waves of assorted aliens – with pods
– score is saved to leaderboard
story LB challenge:
– As our defences become engaged with the 3 pronged attack – 2 more enemy troopships swoop in and beam down invaders directly to the Pod landing pads
– 15 short fast waves – few resources available
grinder:
– As our defences become engaged with the 3 pronged attack – 2 more enemy troopships swoop in and beam down invaders directly to the Pod landing pads
– 102 waves of Walkers – with a wicked Boss last wave
super grinder:
– As our defences become engaged with the 3 pronged attack – 2 more enemy troopships swoop in and beam down invaders directly to the Pod landing pads
– 101 short small waves of assorted aliens for a faster game
super G challenge
– 90 very large custom waves – with pods
– this mode takes a couple of hours to complete – the file size is small and should save and resume no problem, but to be on the safe side, leave the mode when there a
the settings for gold on the super grinder has been fixed – correctly this time –
i am sorry to those who have downloaded the map played a good super G and did not get credited properly
this file, as of 2019/10/05 is the final corrected map ……. the only difference is the SG settings – so a new download is not needed except to correct the your leaderboard results on the super grinder

Well this map on story LB challenge elite is very… HARD! 🙂
This is an interesting map.
The story LB challenge Elite is a tough nut to crack. I almost beat it, but needed to use the orbital weapon to not lose cores.

i just noticed that i messed up when setting the super grinder gold level …..
it was set at 120 M ….. but i forgot to reset it when i re-compiled the map … so:
– Gold = 120 M – Silver = 100 M – Bronze = 76 M
there is a v2 that has correct settings included above
the comment i made above is wrong in terms of the Super Grinder settings …… the v2 file has the correct settings (now, …. sorry i kept fixing the wrong file)
the proper settings are 5M = Gold … 4M = Silver … 2.8M = Bronze

Finally an idea for another map with long pathing:
What about having very short paths from the entries to the core housing, so that there is no chance to destroy the aliens before they reach them.
The paths to the exits must be long, so that the main goal is to bring the cores back again and again…
