- Authors Map Description -

< Commander : The Aliens are maintaining the offensive and attacking the
neighbouring outpost CM122 . Another installation that uses the new mobile
core housing technology. This new tech may efficiently keep up to four
storage batteries at full capacity, it is also extremely difficult to defend. >
< Commander : The layout of this outpost requires a focussed yet flexible
plan that is both reactive and proactive. Good Luck! >

- as you might have surmised from the last map ...... CM is short for Cores Move

- i sent the last map out to get feedback on the idea of moving the core housings
....... should i do it?, is it fun?, does it work? - type of thing ........ the feedback was
positive and TNTFTB even suggested that i push the idea further, with the core
housing moving greater distances and separate distinct paths for the Aliens
....... i saw it as a challenge and challenge it was

- with the help of OCD ( aka AceOpticsAu ) i was able to work out the problems
and pathing issues involved with stretching the game engine's limits to do
something that it was not intended to do - resulting in something new, and unique,
with an interesting twist

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- every five waves the core housing will move to one of four different locations
on the map ....... if any cores are not seated in the housing when it moves, keep an
eye on them, they will start floating to the new housing location, bringing them right
past the entrance/exit ......... a properly timed Zacara pulse, is a beautiful thing .....

- i set the achievement award levels ( gold, silver, etc. ) based on my scores
playing Elite level without using score boosts .... so they should be attainable
.... while providing definate challenge

- if you find anything that i might have missed or messed up,
please let me know in the comments, so i can try to fix it

- a big thank you to TNTFTB for suggesting this map and to OCD for trying to
do things that i would never have considered and finding several bugs 🙂

This is something new! You have added another aspect or layer to solving a map.
At first, after many rewinds and revamps i thought it impossible, to save all the cores, on the elite setting. But, after a restart and new strategy, it all fell into place! Great puzzle!
