– Authors Map Description –
< Commander: The Research Facility and Command Post on Callisto is being targeted. Jupiter’s 2nd largest moon – Callisto – is a heavily cratered ball of ice, giving it a mottled blue-ish appearance. The prep for this mission has just been completed and you are cleared to depart, immediately. >
< Commander: I admire your enthusiastic commitment to your job, most people would have become depressed and/or burnt out from running around the solar system keeping one step ahead of the Aliens. The pressure and responsibility involved with your position is substantial. Protecting our assets – by: arriving first, then waiting for the trespass to be established before a defensive posture can begin must be frustrating. Your present defensive policy – the total extermination of the raiding party with extreme prejudice has reduced the numbers of and frequency of the Alien attacks. >
< Commander: If you feel the desire for some R&R , High Command has sanctioned a furlough ( paid, of course ). Ski season in the ‘Canadian Rockies’ is in full bloom. >
